Just like Grandmother's friend Taffy who wore her full-length mink over her nightdress to pick up the paper in the morning, I like to add a little fancy to my everyday routine. Sometimes it's a flower arrangement for Sloppy Joe night or eating ice cream sundaes out of crystal stemware. Other times it's ironing my pillowcases with lavender water. Most times it's applying a dab of lipstick before picking up my sons from school. But, it's ALWAYS Fleur-de-Lis on my table that feels elegant even when I do not.
